You can add special features for your firefox using firefox addons. Addons are small piece of softwares wich cane be run with your firefox. it is most useful for web developers and web designers.
Eg:Firebug,Colorzilla
To add a addon go to Firefox->Add-ons or press Ctrl+Shift+A
Here you can see the addons currently installed.
You can install an addon either by searching in search bar or by .xpi file.
if you do not have the .xpi file of the addon simply search in addon search box and install.
if you have the .xpi file of addon,
like in above picture Settings->Install Add-on From File
then select the .xpi file you have and simply install it then you may need to restart your firefox bo reflect the changes.
that's it now you can see the icon of you addon on add-on toolbar of firefox as in the above picture.

Simply Blocks Images in all webpages(latest Firefox version does not provide simple option for disabling images by default, so this add-on can fix the problem. )
Colors can be tried out on websites by dragging a color area from the picker or library to webpage content, or by selecting an element to paint with the color picker. Color values can be viewed in hex, rbg, and hsl formats.
This add-on is used to save all the images form any website to our pc. This enables the batch saving of images opened in tabs.
